Itinerary

Day 1 –

  • Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be met by Visit SL Travels representative. The representative will be your private driver cum guide for the entire tour in Sri Lanka.
  • You will be transferred to Sigiriya.
  • On the way to Sigiriya you will take short break and visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
  • Then proceed to Sigiriya and check-in to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 –

  • After breakfast we explore Sigiriya. Visit the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya and explore
  • its beautiful gardens.
  • Then visit a traditional village in Habarana to experience the real rural life in Sri Lanka.
  • After lunch, we continue to Kandy.
  • En route to Kandy we stop off a spice garden in Matale, to see the different herbs and
  • Spices, which Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown
  • How some of these spices are grown and processed.
  • In the evening we can watch a traditional dance show.
  • Check-in to your hotel in Kandy for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 3 –

  • After breakfast we take a sightseeing tour of Kandy – the last capital of the Sri Lankan
  • Kings. Our first stop will be the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
  • Visit Gem museum in Kandy.
  • Explore the Royal botanical garden in Peradeniya.
  • Continue to Nuwaraeliya after lunch.
  • Visit Ramboda waterfall and a tea plantation.
  • Visit Hanuman temple [optional]
  • Check-in to your hotel in Nuwaraeliya for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 4-

  • After breakfast we take a beautiful drive through Nuwara Eliya – an area known locally as
    ‘Little England’.
  • Board the Scenic train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella.
  • Enjoy breathtaking views of the lush green landscapes, mountains, and waterfalls during
    the journey.
  • Arrive in Ella and visit Nine arches bridge.
  • Explore the charming town of Ella.
  • Check-in to you hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Ella.

Day 5-

  • After breakfast, we climb Mini adam’s peak in Ella [Mini Adam’s Peak lets thrill-seekers
  • scour stunning sceneries that are made up of densely covered jungle and cliff drops.]
  • Depart for Yala National Park, known for its wildlife.
  • Embark on a thrilling jeep safari to spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife.
  • Overnight stay in a hotel near Yala.

Day 6 –

  • After breakfast we proceed to a beach resort in Southern Cost.
  • On the way capture beautiful picture with famous stilt fishermen, and explore Dutch Fort
    in Galle.
  • Visit Sea turtle hatchery and capture beautiful photograph with baby turtle.
  • Afternoon stay leisure and overnight stay at your beach resort

Day 7 –

  • Today is the last day in this trip.
  • Spend the morning relaxing on the beach.
  • Proceed to Colombo and we take a City tour of Colombo, visiting key attractions.
  • After the city tour proceed to the Colombo airport on time for the departure flight
